3 Simple Tips To Quick Weight Loss

I'm sure we have all been there, got a special event coming up - a wedding, a party or maybe a summer vacation, time has passed so quickly that your intended diet just has not happened. You need to lose those extra pounds NOW! So what do you do? Here are a few simple tips which should see results quickly.

1. Diet - This is the most important place to start. Take 15 minutes and look at what you would eat in any normal day. If it is filled with fizzy juice, fast food, takeaways and ready meals with sweet sugary snacks between meals you have a bit of work to do! You need to quit this NOW.

A healthy balanced diet which is rich in fresh fruit and vegetables, lean cuts of meat and poultry, fish and lots of water. Get back into the kitchen and prepare simple home cooked meals which you know are the healthy options. Incorporate lots of fibre into your diet as this makes you feel full and also it takes longer for the body to digest thus giving your metabolism a boost which in itself promotes weight loss.

2. Exercise - The key to effective weight loss. By taking exercise at regular intervals through the week your body will burn more calories and weight loss will become evident. There is no need to rush out and join an expensive gym, a brisk walk or a gentle jog or swim will have the same effect.

3. Detox - The use of fibre supplements and body wraps can be very effective in cleansing the system. These help to break down fat which is then expelled by the body in its natural waste products.

The alternative to using supplements is to have one day per week where your diet is made up purely of fresh fruit and vegetables which are natures way of supplying fibre in our diet perhaps some oatmeal may be included as an additional "filler". Drinks should be limited to water. Water plays a vital roll in any diet, professionals will recommend that we consume at least 8 large glasses of water per day.

So there you have it, three relatively simple steps to lose the unwanted pounds in a short space of time. However, these tips are not just for the short term. If you want to lose weight and keep it off continue the regime for great results.
