Fast Weight Loss Tips - All About the Cabbage Soup Weight Loss Recipe
Benefits
Although it is high in fiber and low in fat, the cabbage soup weight loss recipe is for short-term weight loss and it is one of the reasons why it became one of the most popular weight loss options available. Another good thing about this is that anyone can do it and you do not have to spend too much money on it.
What the experts are saying
According to nutritional and dietary experts, you can lose your water weight with the cabbage soup weight loss recipe but not fat. Furthermore, even if cabbage is healthy, it still lacks some important vitamins and minerals your body needs to function so it is important that you also take in other nutritious foods like fruits, other vegetables and healthy meats.
How to lose weight with cabbage soup
Here is an example on how the cabbage soup weight loss recipe can help you while eating other nutritious foods:
Day 1: Eat your cabbage soup with all the fruit you want, except for bananas. You may only drink cranberry juice, unsweetened teas, or water.
Day 2: Eat other vegetables with your cabbage soup that are either raw or cooked. You can eat as much as you want but pile up on green, leafy ones and stay away from beans, corn, and peas.
Day 3: Combine all the food you are going to eat on days 1 and two.
Day 4: Include skimmed milk and 8 bananas while eating your cabbage soup. Drink as much milk as you can.
Day 5: Start including up to 6 fresh tomatoes and 10 to 20 ounces of beef to eat with your cabbage soup. Furthermore, drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water to wash out the uric acid from your body. You can eat your soup at least once on day 5. If you don’t like beef, substitute baked or broiled skinless chicken or broiled fish.
Day 6: Eat as much beef and vegetables as you want with your soup.
Day 7: Start eating brown rice with your vegetables and cabbage soup while drinking unsweetened fruit juices.

Fast Weight Lose Tips - 4 Diabetic Weight Loss Diet Options
Trying to find a good weight loss program is hard enough. Adding the difficulty of finding a good diabetic weight loss diet can make it seem impossible. Here is where we may help out, by explaining 4 different diabetic weight loss diet options.
4 Diabetic Weight Loss Options:
Diabetic Food Exchange Diet: The diabetic diet plan is one of the main eating plans that doctors prescribe to people with diabetes. It may be confusing at first, yet once you understand its concept, you will find that has two positive outcomes. It will help you lose weight and maintain your blood sugar.
Basically, the diabetic food exchange diet separates food into groups. Each group lists certain foods that may be eaten and the exact portion that may be eaten. Measuring the food amounts is very important on this diabetic weight loss diet. It is also important on when you eat as well.
Diabetic Food Pyramid: This diabetic weight loss diet plan is a little simpler than the above diabetic food exchange diet. The foods are broken out into groups, with the food group allowed the most servings on the bottom. The next groups of foods follow up the pyramid, with the top of the pyramid representing the food group allowed the list.
You can lose weight on this diet, be satisfied, if you stay within the servings allowed each group and choose healthy, low calorie foods.
Atkins Diabetic Diet: This diet is found within the Atkins series of dieting books. The book, Atkins Diabetes Revolution offers diabetic meal plans allowing three different levels of carbohydrate consumption. The Atkins Diabetic Diet starts out with allowing 20 grams of carbs per day, then going to 40, and then to 60 grams per day. This diabetic weight loss diet may be a bit extreme for many people because it almost eliminates breads, rice and potatoes. Yet, many people do control their diabetes as well as their weight with this diet.
Nutrisystem Diabetic Diet Plan: The diabetic weight loss diet plan offered by Nutrisystem may be considered one of the most convenient diabetic weight loss options. The diabetic meals are specifically made for people with diabetes Type II. They are low calorie pre-packaged and pre-portioned, and require no refrigeration. Fresh fruits, vegetables and milk should be added to completely balance the diet. If you are “on the go” and have a hard time with meal planning, this diabetic weight loss plan should be considered.
A fifth [http://diabeticdietfood.com/diabetic-diet-food-plan-review]diabetic weight loss diet that could be considered extreme: 20 pounds lost in 30 days, is described on my blog at http://www.diabeticdietfood.com - You can also find indepth information on diabetic diet food and managing diabetes with diet on my blog.

How to Lose Weight By Eating More
What if I told you that one of the keys to successful weight loss is…eating?
So many people that I talk with who are trying to lose weight typically start by eliminating meals altogether from their diets hoping to quickly lose weight.
The primary consensus is that if they don’t eat, they will lose weight.
Well let me tell you that this practice can actually have the opposite effect.
It’s true that if you don’t eat anything at all, eventually you will lose weight, but not until your body is actually convinced that it is in a starvation mode. The reason for this is that your body is a finely tuned and very smart “machine”. It has been carefully programmed over thousands of years of evolution to conserve your body fat in the unlikely event that you can’t eat. It is a primal survival mechanism that is intended to prevent starvation.
The key to losing weight is keeping your metabolism fired up. Your metabolism is your internal “engine” that controls the rate at which you burn calories.
When you skip meals or stop eating all together your body automatically begins to conserve calories. Therefore, it’s important that you eat continually throughout the day. Every 2 hours to be more specific. This doesn’t mean you want to go off on some kind of a binge. To the contrary, what foods you should eat and when is critical. This ensures you always keep your body guessing and your metabolism working at the highest rate. That, in turn, ensures that you continue to burn fat and lose weight.
The key is to eat smaller portions of the right foods throughout the day. What do I mean by the “right” foods? By right foods I mean those foods that contain good proteins and carbohydrates that are easily burned and converted to energy instead of fat. A few examples of this are certain fruits, vegetables, and nuts and seeds. Certain fruits and vegetables contain beneficial vitamins and enzymes and are converted to quick energy. The best foods for you are Organic foods, that do not contain pesticides or chemicals.
Try fixing yourself some cut up vegetables like celery, carrots and broccoli and eating them between breakfast and lunch and as a mid afternoon snack. Or have a cut-up apple, melon or some pineapple. You can also eat a handful of plain almonds instead.
Focus on eating smaller portions of the right foods, 5 times a day and eating healthy snacks in between meals. And try not to eat after 7:30 PM. Start with the fruits, vegetables and almonds. And mix them up.
One more thing, there are several bad carbohydrates, most of them contain refined sugar or flour of some type. Stay away from these foods! And don’t eat after 8 PM.
Stick to the good carbohydrates and proteins, eating them at the right times throughout the day, and you will be on your way to losing unwanted pounds and improving your overall health.

Wanting v. Needing Food?
Published by patbarone
Weight loss requires deep change in order to become “permanent.”
Seeing the number on the scale go down is exhilarating and gratifying, but the mental and emotional conditioning that caused the weight gain must be changed as well. Otherwise, old habits have a tendency to resurface and the number on the scale rises again.
One of the most important distinctions to discover is the difference between physical hunger and physical desire.
Having these two conditions confused is not unusual. Most of us have a hard time making the distinction.
Physical hunger is true body hunger, felt in the stomach (or occasionally as light-headedness). It occurs only after quite a while has passed since eating.
Physical desire is a yearning produced by mental stimulus (seeing available food, negative thinking patterns, etc.), emotional need (the urge to block intense emotions like anger and frustration, mask discomfort as when embarassed, or fill space when bored or feeling lonely). Often there is a deep and intense need for food when feeling spiritually adrift.
Physical desire is felt in the upper chest and head. It’s wanting food when there is no hunger present. The mind may label it “hunger” - in fact, we often intensify the need for food during these moments of desire by claiming “I am starving” or “I’ve got to eat something!” - but it is just the mind talking!
If that intensity shows up, it makes it even easier to know that physical desire is present, not real hunger. After years of battling these intense desires, it’s quite common to lose track of what real hunger feels like.
But, if you are driven to eat, if you feel a force moving you to leave your desk, get to the kitchen, or even to jump in your car to get food, you are probably experiencing physical desire.
Physical hunger can actually wait.
Yes, if it’s true hunger, you probably feel you can eat in 10 or 15 minutes with no problems. Real hunger rarely brings up an emotional state intense enough to get you moving at that very moment.
How to Work with Physical Hunger
If you’ve developed a diet mentality based on efforts to lose weight through highly restrictive diets, you may have the cues and responses backwards. If physical hunger is present, you should eat. Never attempt to avoid food. Your body is communicating a need to you. Pretending you are not hungry or attempting to invoke “willpower” fight the urge to eat will only backfire, causing binging.
In fact, if everyone ate only when physical hunger appeared in their bodies, no one would be overweight!
You might want to make good choices when hunger appears: choose foods low in white flours, sugar, saturated fats, chemicals and processing, and high in protein, complex carbohydrate and “good” fats.
Be aware of hunger levels as they subside when you eat. Be sure to stop eating before you feel full in any way.
How to Work with Physical Desire
Once you realize you’re experiencing physical desire, reframe it immediately as a situation that does not call for food.
Determine the source of the desire.
Are you under pressure or stress? What are your current emotions? What recent occurrences might have caused the desire for food? What are you hoping the food will do for you? (Will it, for example, take your mind off your problems? Will it soothe you? Will it make you feel guilty, which is a more familiar, more acceptable emotion than what you’re feeling?)
Process the source of the desire.
If emotional, try to write/journal about it or express the emotions you are feeling to someone. If stress is present, how can you offset or renegotiate the situation that’s causing stress? Creating a new set of deadlines is easier in the long run than gobbling that jelly filled donut. If you need soothing, what will provide that? In some situations, a cup of tea might be helpful; at other times you may need to talk with an understanding friend. Never underestimate the power of delaying tactics. It’s funny that we find it acceptable to procrastinate healthy eating for years, but we never think to use that skill on everyday urges to eat when we’re not hungry.
Conclusion
Learning to discern the difference between physical hunger and physical desire puts you in a powerful position. Developing ways to cope with these two states in appropriate ways gives you confidence you can handle any situation in life. Handling the two states in a consistent manner over a prolonged period of time results in weight loss that is permanent because it is based on deep behavioral change.

How to Get a Six Pack
Published by spartanmalc
One of the most common questions people ask concerning fitness and health in general is how to get a six pack. The six pack is the most coveted of all physical appearance characteristics. It tells the world that you are in shape, healthy, dedicated and strong. Of course, it gives you the added benefit of being in great condition, lowering your health concerns and fitting back into those jeans from years ago.
But when it comes to answering how to get a six pack, you should know that there really are no shortcuts. All of the miracle fad diets, the instant weight loss supplements, the tricky new workout gadgets from infomercials, discard all of them. The only tried and true method for how to get a six pack is the proper combination of hard work, eating healthy and working out.
One of the problems with fad diets is that they cut too many calories and limit your intake and nutrients. Starvation diets may end up in you losing weight. However, the majority of this weight is going to be water weight and it is going to come right back as soon as you stop the program. When you limit your caloric intake to too few calories, it actually slows down your metabolism. Your body goes into fat storage mode, burning calories as slowly as possible because it thinks it is not going to be getting enough.
So when you are thinking about how to get a six pack, you have to avoid these drastic diet changes. The right way to go about it is to cut several hundred calories from your daily intake. The key to solving the how to get a six pack riddle is to keep your body well fed enough so it does not slow its metabolism down.
Not only does this require cutting down your total calorie intake, this also involves eating smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day. This keeps your body fueled with energy so your metabolism never slows down.
The thing is, everybody already has abs. They are muscles that are in everybodys bodies naturally. Of course if you work on these muscles they will grow. But remember you are not working on something you need to create entirely; you just need to bring them to the forefront. Eliminating the excess fat on your stomach is the best and most obvious way when it comes to how to get a six pack.
If you are having trouble staying motivated in the gym, do not confine yourself to just using crunches or sit ups. Try incorporating more total body exercises that also in part work the abdominal muscles. Doing thousands of crunches is not necessary for how to get a six pack. You want to incorporate a variety of exercises, core movements, stability exercises, bodyweight drills and even free weight compound exercises and movements that all incorporate your abs.
Do not try to trick your body by starving it or setting yourself up for failure by following a fad diet or infomercial program. Just dedicate yourself to everyday improvements that slowly turn into big gains. Cutting a few hundred calories, eating smaller meals spaced throughout the day and incorporating a variety of abdominal exercises into your workout routine is the best answer for the question how to get a six pack.

Yoga Diet System For Losing Weight
Published by JACKIE
Are you frustrated with searching for diet answers? Are there really any Yoga secrets for losing weight? How could low impact Hatha Yoga and a Sattvic diet really make a difference? Why has Yoga been successful in weight loss studies?
It should be understood that Yoga was never designed to be a weight loss system. When Yoga was first developed, approximately five thousand years ago, obesity was not the problem it is today.
On average, people did not live as long as we do. At the same time, people were much more physically active. We rely on machines, use computers, and sit much more than our ancestors did five thousand years ago.
So, where do we get this idea about Yoga and weight loss? The most common form of Yoga, outside of India, is Hatha and its many sub-styles. Hatha Yoga’s approach to physical exercise is usually low impact movement, holding postures, or Yogic breathing techniques (pranayama).
From the outside looking in, Hatha Yoga doesn’t seem to place much demand on the body - in comparison to running, cycling, or jumping rope. However, Yoga is not an exercise system. Yoga is a complete health maintenance system, which improves your mind, body, and emotional state.
Practitioners of Yoga tend to practice for decades without injuries. Much like anything else, it is possible to hurt yourself if you push too hard or force a pre-existing injury. Finding competent Yoga instruction is also important.
Yet, in comparison to any other physical activity, students of Yoga will practice for longevity. The reason is - Yoga becomes a lifestyle and it is fun to practice. It is not a dreaded chore to practice Yoga. In comparison, if you ask most people about standard forms of exercise, they will tell you they see exercise as torture.
This is the main reason why most people are physically inactive; they do not enjoy exercise or they find it boring. This is where Hatha Yoga has a big advantage over exercise systems. On top of that, there is a Yogic diet, which is also known as the Sattvic diet.
In a nutshell, the Sattvic diet is vegetarian and consists of natural or whole foods. Sometimes, people will find this eating boring, but let’s try a different strategy. The next time you go shopping - do not try to make a big change all at once.
Introduce a few natural or whole foods for weekly meals. Reduce take-out meals and lower the consumption of meat - especially processed meat. By making a few small changes at a time, you will improve your life and the lives of your family members.
Giving family members the choice of processed food, beside natural or whole foods, will open their minds to new tastes. Gradual change is a natural part of life, while drastic change is something we sometimes accept.
There is no need to make your dinner table a source of conflict. Natural food is just another choice. This is one reason why researchers, at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, in Seattle, saw positive dieting results from Yoga. A lifestyle you are comfortable with has less stress, anxiety, and frustration.
